TRIP SUMMARY

Nice day on the Arkansas River. Flows were a little low but fishing remained good throughout the day. Dry dropper rigs were the ticket running a size 14 yellow chubby chernobyl with a size 18 splatte roller caddis in olive and size 20 black zebra midge. The water was very clear so I was running 6x fluorocarbon and we traveled the river slowly. Stealth is key on the Ark right now, try approaching runs from down stream and working up. Step lightly and wear drab colored clothing to minimize trout detecting your presence. Good luck out there!
