TRIP SUMMARY

Great float on the Colorado. Steady action throughout the day with lots of hopper eats. We did best on dries fishing a size 12 yellow chubby with a size 16 bionic ant very tight to the bank. As aquatic insect hatches trail off this time of year, trout move closer to the bank in search of terrestrials and will opportunistically take a hopper or ant very eagerly. This activity tends to pick up on windy days. Good luck out there!
