Flows have dropped from 170 CFS to 120 Cfs and the dry fly fishing has improved because of it. The Trico hatch in the mid morning, specifically the spinner fall, has been a great time to fish to a number of rising fish. Size 22 and 24 Trico dries along with 5x or 6x tippet has been the ticket. Look for fish to rise in and near the slow water next to the banks during the hatch. After the Trico hatch I am still seeing PMDs and some midges. Nymphing the quicker water with a Leech, Juju PMD and a midge has been very productive. Be sure to try and get out there fall is a great time to be on the water!
