We’re right on the cusp of spring fishing on the Arkansas tailwater. Fish are still grouped up in that classic winter water for the most part so where you find one expect to turn a few more. As water temps rise over the coming weeks those fish will start spreading out. Definitely signs of rainbows getting ready for the spawn so be mindful of redds. We stayed hooked up pretty consistently throughout the day, Mayers mini leech in black was our top producer along with cream and red midge larvae in size 20 and mercury black beauty’s in a 22.
