TRIP SUMMARY

Fishing along the banks of the lower Arkansas river is about as good as it gets. Bugs, bugs bugs! Caddis throughout the day, PMD mid-morning along with grey drakes dries and golden stone nymphs.

Early in the morning we caught most of our fish sub-surface. Gold K.G.B #16, green Rainbow warrior #18, purple Duracell #16, and emerging midge patterns. As the water temps increased the top water action picked up. Fish took yellow stimulators #12 and gold chubbys #10.

Fish slow water with depth, both grassy banks and deep pockets are holding tons of fish!
