TRIP SUMMARY

Fishing continues to be good along the South Platte. I’ve been spending a lot of time walking the banks and finding fish. The sight fishing is great. There are lots of fish that have been on the edge of the swift water feeding. Worms, stones, and leeches have been my lead flies. I’ve been dropping midges and Baetis in the morning and switching midday to caddis and soft hackles.
