TRIP SUMMARY

The Platte is fishing really good right now. In the mornings fish are holding in areas with deeper water. As the day goes on I’ve been seeing fish in the riffles. Tricos are still hatching around 9. The dry fly action can be fantastic but it depends where you are on the river. In one spot, fish may be feeding hard, while up around a bend you may not see a fish rise. Midges have been working well all throughout the day.
