TRIP SUMMARY

Eagle River fished great today. Lots of big healthy rainbows! Early on we found success nymphing with leech and worm patterns. Had a great trico hatch that provided some challenging but successful dry fly action. Size 24 black parachute adams fooled several trout. Fish continued to rise well into the afternoon until the blue wings started coming off. Size 24 olive WD-40’s fished mid column were the ticket and provided steady action for the remainder of the trip. All in all, the Eagle is fishing great and should continue to do so.
