What an epic day on the water! Things were slow to start but once the trico hatch hit around 930a, activity really picked up and never stopped. Midge emergers in the morning will get fish in the net; think small and dark brown or black like the Manhattan Midge or a Top Secret. After lunch, the PMD hatch steals the show. Look to target trout in the shallow riffles, move slow and put a good cast a few feet in front of those fish actively feeding. A good presentation in fast water will get fish in the net. Have fun out there!
