TRIP SUMMARY

We had a great day on the water today! The fish were eating nymphs, including worms, tiny tricos and PMDs early in the morning. The trico hatch got thick enough by about 10:30 that we started to see some rising fish. The drop in flows this week has really improved the dry fly fishing! The tricos tapered off by about noon so we switched back to nymphs and got decent action the rest of the day. Most of the fish we found were feeding in faster water.
