Today was tough but we were able to get some fish in the net. Some small bumps in flows throughout the morning led to a bunch of grass in the water, so take your time to make sure you don't have any salad on your flies before your casts. Today was a good reminder to trust the process. Sometimes it feels like you should change flies like crazy, swap rods with your buddies, swap spots, and then they're the ones who keep catching fish. Stay confident, trust your gut and the process, and be patient. There's a lot on the menu for trout right now (worms, leeches, lots of baetis, etc.) but on the dream there can be a ton of mosquitos and a good midge emerger can look just like them ( JuJubee midge, Top Secret). We also had a ton of looks at hopper patterns, which led to some exciting moments, even when they're misses.
