Latest Update 2/8/2019
Great news- flows have recently increased to 108 CFS below Gross. This discharge has opened up more and more of that great pocket water we are used to seeing on South Boulder Creek. If you want to avoid the ski traffic on crowded highways this time of year, the Gross reservoir tailwater is for you. Despite the appearance of a small mountain stream, SBC fishes more similarly to the bigger tailwaters in the state. As of late, fish have been keyed in on small midge larvae. Zebra midges, Black Beauties, Rojo midges, and similar patterns in sizes 22-24 have been producing well. Feel free to stop by the shop so we can help you get set up!
