Below Tarryall Reservoir is flowing at 15 CFS. Hopper dropper rigs should be your go to currently with the lower fall flows. Smaller terrestrials like amy's ants, hippy stompers and 409's in a #12-16 are working well as dries. Drop a smaller attractor nymph off the back such as a pheasant tail, duracell, HDA variant or perdigon in a #16-18 and you can even try a baetis as a third fly. Sparkle wing RS2's in grey or olive in a #18-20 are always a great option to tie off the back of this rig.
Tarryall Creek is a small-sized gem located in Park County. The limited public stretches that exist are usually loaded with browns and rainbows in the 6-12" range with the occasional 20"er .
This is primarily a summer fishery. Great opportunities for dry fly fishing exists from May to September. Hopper dropper rigs work great when fished near the undercut banks and deep riffles.
