The River Bank Backpack combines a rugged, yet sophisticated exterior with a surprising amount of functionality inside. The pack features an interior laptop sleeve, adjustable gear straps and a handy zippered front pocket with plenty of room for a day outdoors, in the office, or on the streets.
I got this as part of a set of the FP field stuff I own. I own it alongside the Boulder briefcase, Bighorn kit bag, and Blue River pack. It's a good backpack for hauling a lot of stuff that doesn't need a lot of precise organization (think a hoodie and some snacks, overnight use, etc.). It's basically just one big pocket so keep that in mind (hence why it's just a 4-star). If you need lots of organization look at the Boulder briefcase. The fabric and style are exactly what you expect. The canvas ages great -- let it get beat up a bit and it really comes into its own.
