A little off-season time on the water!

A couple of weeks ago, the Colorado Rockies kicked off their 25th season with a little press tour throughout Rockies country. It just so happens that friend of the shop and defending NL Batting Champion Charlie Blackmon (@chuck_nazty if you're nasty) was in town and he doesn't turn down an opportunity to hit the water. So, when the press tour was over, he brought All-Star Third Basemen Nolan Arenado down to the shop and convinced the big boss to let one of us shop lackeys to hit the water. Our own Tanner Smith (aka @sanjuanandeggs) drew the short straw and the boys drove out (with an empty gas tank) to Deckers for a little afternoon action. MLB.COM did a good job of summarizing their afternoon on the water.

With the recent signings, we couldn't be more excited about what this season is going to bring to Coors Field and we are certainly looking forward to hitting the water again with the Boys of Summer.

Deckers giving up some solid rainbows for ole Charlie Blackmon

While we can vouch for Charlie's fishing acumen, we can't do the same for his fish holding ability.
