Join our Outfitting & Education Manager, Dave Lovell, as he teaches us all about the importance of removing slack from your line when you're casting. As Dave explains, slack in your cast, more often than not, prevents you from accurately delivering your fly in a timely fashion. I could write a long blog about what slack does to my fly cast, but it's a lot easier to sit back and let Dave demonstrate the correct way to eliminate slack, especially with the common pickup and lay-down cast we use so often.
