"The BONEFISH SCAMPI was a fly that came about in the early to mid-nineties. Originally designed to feed the more finicky bonefish in the Bahamas, this fly has since proven itself from the Carribean to the Seychelles. It should be in your box no matter the destination. What makes the SCAMPI such a hit is the combination of zonked rabbit and polar fiber, a deadly combination for castability and movement. While intended for bonefish the Scampi works well for permit, snapper and even baby tarpon. Its effectiveness has to lead me to design a REDFISH SCAMPI as well. Give them both a try." –Henry Cowen
