Found the emerger had the perfect length handle, long enough so I didn’t have to get into a funky position to solo net a big fish but short enough and small enough to hike around with.

Took on first outing and was great lightweight and large opening made it easy to use

I love this net. It is a great size and shape for catching any size of trout that I come across. I use it with and without a strap and it also tucks into my Fishpond sling bag and also my Umpqua hip pack. It's a really versatile net with great dimensions and craftsmanship from a quality brand.

Overall, love the feel of the nomad emerger net. the pocket size is great, and it is light for easy travel, however I do wish the handle was a bit longer for greater reach. Overall great quality and perfect to fit into my fishpond sling pack.

I got this net and committed to not using it or taking the price tag off until I caught a fish worthy of filling its basket, you know, "just to make sure it worked." Flash forward several weeks later to when I finally got to scoop a specimen of a South Platte brown that exceeded the 19" basket length, and needless to say, the net worked...
