New Zealand anglers fish in some of the most difficult conditions on the planet. What better place for design and testing a new strike indicator system that gives you more than one chance for a delicate presentation at the proper depth to hook a trophy trout.
It takes a little longer to rig but its the best for spooky/finicky fish as it makes a very minimal splash compared to other indicators. You can also choose how small or how big you want without sacrificing visibility or making your rig too heavy. Best with a little dry/wet floatant but still works well without.
These leaders are great.. They take a little more time to rig but the concept is great. No more permanent bends in your leader. Great presentation and do not spook fish.
Love this setup for any situation where stealth is paramount. The New Zealand indicator lands softly and is incredibly sensitive when there is a take. Although the setup is a bit finicky and you do have to cary a small tool with you, it is worth keeping a spot in your pack for.
Good indicators but a bit of a pain to get it on. If you have too much wool it won't pull through, too little and it'll slide around like a slippery lil' goose! Once you have that dialed in it works great and leaves no kinks in your leader.
