Product Description

Get this: we took one of our most popular tapers, the Titan, drenched it in various mixtures of tungsten powder, and created a triple-density sinking fly line that will absolutely change the way you fish streamers forever. This is a fully tapered sinking line, so it casts like a floater, but provides a straight-line sinking connection to your streamer. The days of chucking and ducking are finally over. Welcome to the triple-density revolution.

Features

  • Loads quickly and delivers the biggest flies to the furthest targets
  • Excellent turnover due to short, powerful head and short front taper
  • Triple-density construction provides straight-line connection to fly
  • Mastery Texturing reduces friction, providing longer casts, easier pick-up, and increased durability
  • For temperate climates
  • Braided multifilament core
  • Sink Rates:
  • Intermediate = 1.25 ips
  • Sink 3 = 2.5 – 3.5 ips
  • Sink 5 = 4.5 – 6.0 ips
  • SA ID – SA SONAR TITAN INTS3S5 X (X = line weight)

Best sink tip line you can buy! Keeps streamers in the "sweet spot"

This is unquestionably the best sink tip line I have used. I have used this in a variety of settings from rivers, still water and warm water. It performs every time. Cast remarkably well and shoot through the guides. Very easy to cast in the "key range" of 30 ft of line. I use the Sink 3 which drops at a rate of 3 inches/Sec. I have found this rate to be the most versatile for all settings. Using a fast rate of retrieve will allow your streamer/fly to stay sub-surface and graze the middle of the water column where fish are holding. A slow rate will allow you to graze the bottom and you can easily throw in a pause to entice a strike. In deep still water settings, allow a pause on your cast to reach your required depth. This line is incredibly strong and is built for abuse. With some very minimal care, this line will last for many seasons of fishing. If hucking meat is your game, this line is the ticket!
