Umpqua Head Cement Thinner goes hand in hand with the Flexament product. As described the thinner will help keep your desired consistency and extend the life of you Flaxament head cement. 

This fly tying head cement dries clear and rubbery, the strongest of any evaporative head cement. It's also good for feathers (will prevent quills from splitting if applied sparingly) and for anchoring lead wire. Choose cement or thinner in 1 oz. wide mouth plastic bottles.
