The YETI Tundra 45 Cooler is our customers’ top choice because of its versatile 26-can recommended capacity and easy portability. And of course this cooler is infused with that legendary YETI toughness — made from roto-molded polyethylene, it’s UV resistant, heavily insulated and damn-near indestructible. The durable, marine-grade nylon rope handles with textured grips let you easily haul your Tundra 45 camping cooler on short trips and quick hunting excursions. It’s also great for a day on the lake due to its molded-in tie-down slots and non-slip feet, and will even stand in as a casting platform. Like all YETI Coolers, it’s built to be grizzly proof, making it a must-have cooler on your next overnighter in bear country.
Extra-thick walls hold up to two inches of insulation for unmatched ice retention.
Pressure-injected commercial-grade polyurethane foam in the walls and lid makes sure your ice stays ice.
Makes it armored to the core and virtually indestructible.
I don’t tend to go camping/fishing with too many people, so this cooler has always been able to accommodate the amount of food and beverage I need on up to 4 day trips.
I’ve found that 10 pounds of ice tends to keep for around the same amount of time.
I’ll also bring some plastic and use this cooler to keep any fish I might decide to keep, and those fish always come out of the cooler ice cold!
Another added plus is that this cooler is near safe. It makes trips up into Wyoming and Montana wilderness that much safer!
Once I’ve bought all the rods and reels I want, a larger Yeti is next on the list!
Does its job. Great size for the day or a couple of overnights. I use it for Roadtrips with the fam.
I got my 45 about 3 years ago and have since put it through the ringer. It's heavy, durable and looks awesome. For some, the weight might be an issue but when it's empty in your trunk while driving around, it's nice that it stays put.
As everyone knows, the ice lasts forever. Even if i don't fill up the cooler with the recommended amount of ice, it will go at least a day before melting and even when melted, it's still ice cold for the following day.
Pick one up and see what all the hype is about. You won't be disappointed.
My wife got me this tundra a few years back for a anniversary gift and I love it. Anytime I travel for work, or we do a road trip for vacation it always comes with. Keeps ice frozen for days! Highly recommend if looking for a quality cooler. You get what you pay for here
The fact that nobody has written a review on this cooler is testament that it's insanely badass. I've had mine for 10 years and it may look like a stickered up hippy van, but it holds ice longer than any cooler I own. And I own a few. My 20 year-old Igloo is relegated to finishing briskets and human body part deliveries (not simultaneously of course). The Yeti 45 also fits right under a nominal raft seat between the support bars perfectly. The gaskets are in perfect shape, and it has never leaked at the outlet. Need I say more?
