If you fly fish in Colorado pay attention to this: with strong bipartisan support, the Colorado General Assembly has passed Senate Bill 224 to create the Protect Our Rivers license plate. The plate will be available to all CO residents through a tax-deductible contribution of $25 to Colorado Trout Unlimited and 100% of the funds will be used locally to protect, conserve and restore Colorado rivers.

Here’s what you can do if you support this effort and Colorado TU: sign the CTU Petition which will be presented to the powers that be to demonstrate that this effort has support in the field. You can also choose to be kept in the loop as this effort progresses. We signed the petition and it took about 30 seconds.
