Awesome day out on the water with some great clients! We got to the river at 8 am and had a bit of overcast skies but those quickly cleared up and was sunny all day. We saw a few fish rising while walking to the river but we started with a nymph rig to start things off with confidence. Had a couple of fish take a pats rubber legs and small stones along with egg patterns. Probably about a dozen before lunch. After we ate, we went back and covered the rest of the section we had for the day and switched to dry flies exclusively. Chubby Chernobyl's did the trick in all colors and sizes. We probably pulled in another 15 or so after lunch. Water temps hovered around 60 degrees.
