With upwards of 10" of snow blanketing Denver and well over a foot of snow in the foothills, we've decided to make the call and postpone our Black Friday River Cleanup. Call us crazy, but we think it's going to be pretty hard to find trash to pick up when the ground is covered by a foot of snow. It's a bummer for sure, but stay tuned to blog for more updates on the rescheduled River Cleanup.
Now, just because the River Cleanup is off, doesn't mean that we aren't going to #OptOutside. For the third straight year, Trouts Fly Fishing (the Denver location) is following in the footsteps of our outdoor industry friends and will be closed for business on Black Friday - November 29th, 2019. Instead of cleaning up the river, we'll be fishing the South Platte and you're welcome to join.
We'll be meeting at The Fort Restaurant (19192 CO-8, Morrison, CO 80465) at 8 AM on Black Friday (11/29) and we will caravan to the South Platte from there. We haven't decided on a final destination, but we'll be fishing the South Platte. That much we know. We look forward to seeing you there and we hope that you #OPTOUTSIDE with us on Black Friday.
Our third annual Holiday Toy Drive isn't impacted by the snow. So, make sure to swing by the Denver location with your new toy donations for Warren Village for a chance to win a brand-new G Loomis NRX+ fly rod.
We can't wait to see you on the 29th for some good times on the water!
Stay tuned to the blog, as we'll be rescheduling the river cleanup as soon as we can!
