The St. Vrain and Big T are still feeling the effects of last years flood.

I've had some truly great days on both the St. Vrain and Big Thompson. Summertime wet wading and dry flies on a 3wt have left me with countless memories from this area. We all knew the rivers were going to take a hit from the floods of September 2013, however based on the questions we get in the shop, I know many of you (myself included) have been curious as to what things are looking like now. Here's a good read from the Coloradoan that provides some scientific data on the current state. While there are still fish to be caught in these rivers, it looks like some stretches are down from 2200 fish per mile to.....9 fish per mile.
