The events of this past week have been a humbling experience as the owner of Trouts Fly Fishing. The news of our sudden closure has unquestionably shaken our customers and created significant speculation as to the future of our business. We have taken steps to rectify our tax issues, and are working to determine the best options for the business moving forward. During this time our Denver and Frisco locations will remain closed, but we will continue to operate our website and online store and will provide an update once a reopening date has been established. I was a customer of Trouts long before I became the owner in 2005, and I know what this store has meant to the greater Denver angling community, and beyond. It has been my honor and passion to continue this tradition for the last 18+ years, and the events of the past week have been unfortunate for myself and my family, and one that I recognize impacts the community that we have served for so long. The past number of years have presented Trouts with amazing opportunities and extraordinary challenges, and it is my hope to keep the Trouts brand alive and strong moving forward.
