We just wanted to take a moment to thank those of you who joined Trouts Frisco on the Upper Blue River to help clean up one of our well-loved homewaters this past Saturday. It was a rainy, cold morning in the high country, which made the turnout that much more rewarding. We really appreciate the dedication of those of you who chose to spend your Saturday morning fending off the elements and taking care of our community river. All said and done, the volunteer cleanup crew was able to completely fill eight whole trash bags of river trash. Styrofoam, glass and plastic bottles, building debris, plastic bags, fishing hook packages, and building plastic were among the refuse that our group removed from the Upper Blue. After finishing the cleanup, we were excited to get some fishing in and the Upper Blue didn't disappoint. We are looking forward to the next cleanup.
