We are excited to announce the Tournament for Tanner (sponsored by Stoic Cutthroats, Freestone Aquatics, Flyfish Colorado, Riversmith, and Trouts Fly Fishing). Join us on two of Fly Fish Colorado’s premier private water properties for a day filled with fun and competition, all in the name of a good cause. That cause is very close to Trouts' heart. Our very own Tanner Smith was recently diagnosed with Stage IV gastric cancer and has a long battle ahead of him. We're stoked to keep the fundraising efforts going as he starts his second round of chemo.

This tournament will be composed of 14 teams of 2 guided anglers. Secure your team’s spot in the Tournament for Tanner. There will be prizes for team performance, the biggest fish caught on a San Juan worm, and the biggest fish caught on an egg. Guides from Trouts Fly Fishing + Colorado Trout Hunters have graciously donated their time to the cause.

• 14 Teams of 2 Guided Anglers
• Minimum Donation Entry Fee: $1,250 per team
• Participants will earn points in two ways. Their 2 largest fish (see below) get 100 points per inch (rounded to the nearest 1/2 inch, and every other fish caught and measured earn 50 points per FISH.
• Each team picks their largest 2 fish, which have to be designated at the time of catch and can’t be from earlier in the day. Anglers must fish an egg or worm at all times in homage to @SanJuanAndEggs.
• All other fish can be caught on any flies the clients/guides desire and must be recorded. The only fish that require measurement are the fish that each team desires to record as their largest 2 fish.
• At the end of the day, we tally everyone’s points to determine the winner of the tournament.
• We will also have two other prizes for the largest fish caught on a worm and the largest fish caught on an egg.

Entry Fees are non-refundable due to the high demand of this event. Entries are transferable. Waivers will be required.
