Awesome day on the water with a great group celebrating a birthday! The day started sunny in the morning and fishing was on right off the bat. Sight fishing in the riffles was the name of the game. We had intermittent storms in the afternoon and that change in pressure really turned the feed on compared to the day before. Saw sporadic caddis hatching in the afternoon- it would appear we are right on the cusp of it being that time of year! Top fly was without a doubt an Olive Leech. We also took fish on Chocolate Thunders, Pheasant Tails, and Eggs. Don’t be afraid of the forecast-Colorado in the springtime can often be stormy but generally it passes through and clears up if you are patient!
