TRIP SUMMARY

Overall a good day any Hayden Meadows today. In the morning there was a large midge hatch and fish were keying into midge patterns in the quicker water. As the day progressed fishing got better as tricos, Caddis and PMDs started to hatch. Hopper dropper set up with a heavy dropper followed by a small midge, Caddis or mayfly imitation is the most effective right now. Be sure to cover water and don’t be afraid to move on, fish are eager to eat the first couple times they see the fly.
