TRIP SUMMARY

Fun morning on the Blue in town. Flows have come down from what we have seen in weeks prior and are sitting currently at 105cfs. Along with the drop in flows the water temp has also decreased and is currently coming out of the dam at 39 degrees. Fish are going to be more lethargic than they were when temps were 60+. Look for fish to be in more walking speed currents, and in the head of runs in the afternoon. I am seeing a lot of midge activity with the drop in temps along with some mayflies but have not seen any more caddis or pmds. A standard nymph rig with Mysis, mayfly and midge imitations will do the trick.
