Tucker Bamford
We had to work for each strike we got today. The river was pretty crowded being the last day of the holiday weekend. We fished nymphs early in the morning and then saw a good trico spinnerfall around mid-morning that brought some fish to the surface for an hour or so. The fish were a bit skittish so a slow, cautious approach and longer casts were key to success. We caught most of our fish on nymphs in faster runs and riffles on black RS2's and small pheasant tails.
