RECAP: Throwback Thursday Fly Fishing Film Fest

Ivan Orsic / Jan 22, 2018

The dust has settled after the Inaugural Throwback Thursday Fly Fishing Film Fest and we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for supporting such a worthwhile cause. Over 360 people showed up to watch old school fly fishing videos and support our home river. Through ticket sales, raffle ticket sales, and a couple of live auctions, we raised the $7500 necessary to purchase an acre-foot of water for the Denver South Platte. This is another amazing victory for our home river and we are honored by all of the support. Special thanks to Scott Wells, Ian Davis, Scott Fly Rods, Abel Reels, Yeti, Ross Reels, Simms, Costa, New Belgium, and Fishpond for their generous donations. It truly was an amazing night filled with classic fly fishing films for a great cause. Check out some pictures from the night!
